Five minutes to understand what RB Top8 shows, how a Riftbound deck is built, and how to make your own.
1 What RB Top8 is
RB Top8 collects the results of Riftbound tournaments: who finished where, and the exact decklist they played. It's the place to see what wins, find a deck to play, and copy it.
- Events: tournaments, newest first, with their standings. Official events are imported automatically; organisers and players can submit the others.
- Decks: every list, card by card, with a text export and a deck code you can paste into other deck builders.
- Archetypes: decks grouped by their Legend (for example all “Jinx” decks), with the cards they play.
- Cards: the full card database, and the tournament decks playing each card.
- Calendar: upcoming tournaments near you, and live standings of the big events in progress.
- Deck search: find decks by the cards they play, then tick a few (even from different events) and compare them card by card to see the core and the flex slots.
2 Anatomy of a Riftbound deck
A tournament deck has several parts. RB Top8 shows them in this order on every deck page:
Legend
Your champion's Legend card. It sets your two domains: every other card must belong to them.
Chosen champion
A champion unit of the same champion as your Legend, ready from the start of the game.
Main deck
At least 40 cards (the chosen champion counts), at most 3 copies of a card and 3 Signature cards of your champion.
Runes
Your energy, split between your two domains (6 + 6 is the usual start).
Battlefields
Three different battlefields you bring to the game.
Sideboard
Optional cards you can swap in between games of a match.

3 Reading results
An event
Standings list each player's placement (1st, 2nd, then brackets like “3-4” or “5-8” for the Top 8), their deck and their record (wins-losses-draws). Click a deck name to open its list.
A decklist
Cards are grouped by type with their energy cost on the right. Hover a card name to see the card. The energy curve shows how many cards cost 0, 1, 2… energy: a low curve means a fast deck.
Tip: the search box at the top finds events, cards, players and archetypes.
4 Build your first deck
- Create a free account: sign up, then New deck.
- Start from a tournament list (easiest): on any deck page, click Copy to my decks, then change what you like.
- Or start from scratch: the guide bar walks you through it: pick a Legend, your champion, fill runes in one click, add battlefields, then main-deck cards.
- Watch the checks: green pills mean that part is legal. “Tournament legal ✓” means you can register it.
- Try it: Sample hand draws an opening hand; the draw odds tell you how often you'll find a key card.
